Planning Fees
Planning fee overview
Hakuna MaTravels has been in the travel industry since 2018 and creates customized itineraries for each family. Planning fees begin May 20, 2026 and help protect the time and knowledge required for detailed trip planning.
Disney vacations
All Disney vacations require a $200 planning fee, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Adventures by Disney.
Other trips
Most Caribbean destinations and Universal vacation packages are planned at no additional cost, determined by the agency on an ad hoc basis.

Rush travel
Travel booked within 30 days: planning fee plus $100 rush fee.
Theme park tickets only
Planning fee plus $100 ticket-only purchase fee.
Airfare
Planning fee plus $30 per person airfare booking fee.
Terms and policy blocks
Payment
Payment accepted via Stripe and due upon final quote selection. Collected in addition to the standard Disney deposit.
Refund and transfer
Fee is non-refundable. It may transfer to new travel dates one time. Later date changes may have a $50 modification fee.
Repeat clients
Discounts may be offered for loyal clients, top referring clients, and multiple room bookings at agency discretion.
Limitations
Planning services depend on availability and are subject to disruptions outside Hakuna MaTravels' control.
